Eastbourne Voluntary Lifeguards

Established in 1948, Eastbourne Voluntary Lifeguards has been training lifesaving and promoting water safety within the local community for over 65 years. We offer training and qualifications in water safety skills, personal survival skills, water-based rescue skills and first aid skills, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). In addition to training, our club has and continues to actively take part in a large variety of lifesaving competitions at all ages. Taking part ensures lifesaving skills continue to develop and we stay fit in the process. Our club is affiliated to the Royal Life Saving Society UK (RLSS UK) and Surf Life Saving GB (SLS GB). As such we aim to deliver a range of the courses available and support them in their aims.
