SLSGB Head Office Closure

We are sure you are aware of the ever-changing social situation regarding Covid-19 outbreak and the impacts it is now having. We are writing to keep you updated on how Surf Life Saving GB will operate during the Coronavirus outbreak. Our aim during this time is to continue to deliver support to our members whilst simultaneously keeping members of staff healthy.

Will support service levels change?
We’re pleased to say that our support services are currently unchanged, however we’re also aware that the outbreak is a rapidly changing situation.

As of today (20/03/2020), our office staff will begin working from home. You will still be able to contact us in the normal way, but we would advise any queries you have should be sent to mail@slsgb.org.uk to ease pressure on diverted phone lines and as we will unfortunately be unable to retrieve voicemails, and we will also only be visiting the office once a week to collect post.

We’re confident that we have the systems and processes in place to support you, whilst also taking care of our team.

Should the situation change we’ll update you.  

How are we checking the progress of the outbreak?
We’re continuing to follow advice from Public Health England, the WHO and both the local and national government on the situation.
