Surf Life Saving athletes and team managers – your chance to be on the funded Great Britain team trip to Japan! - Sanyo Bussan Cup 2012

SLSGB has opened nomination for athletes and team managers to be part of the Sanyo Bussan Cup in Japan.

The event is being held on on 17th September 2012 at Utsumi Beach – Chidorigahama in Aichi. 

SLSGB have been allocated funding from the Japan Life Saving Association to subsidise travel and compete in the international event. As well as the honour of representing your country and competing in a great event, you will benefit from:

• 50,000 Yen (approx. £405) towards each flight
• Free hotel in Japan
• Free transfers between airport and hotel
• Free food
• Free party
• Free GB Team competition vests

N.B There will be an athlete contribution that will need to be made for team clothing and the remainder of the flight cost.

The SLSGB Team requires a Team Manager and athletes (six male, six female) to nominate themselves for selection. To take advantage of this fantastic opportunity, register your interest by 30th July 2012 with Emma Phillips ephillips@slsgb.org.uk. The Team must be submitted to the Japan organisation by the 5 August 2012.
