Volunteer in Brighton in the run up to this year's Paddle Round the Pier!

We are seeking enthusiastic Surf Life Saving Coaches and Trainers to volunteer at ‘Schools Week’ leading up to the Paddle Round the Pier Beach Festival held in Brighton this year.

Volunteers will be involved in a five day Beach Awareness and Surf Safety Education programme that last year gave nearly 250 primary aged children the basics of first aid and an introduction to beach flags. We will be expanding the programme this year to include water activities, therefore Coaches and Trainers with a Lifeguarding qualification would be preferred.  This year’s programme will run from 2nd to 6th July from Hove Lawns and Brighton Beach. Volunteers' accommodation and general expenses will be covered on agreement.
