British Nippers and Youth Life Saving Sport Pool Championships 2012 results

We had a fantastic turn out this year at Cardiff International Pool, with 21 clubs from across the country participating.

We were delighted to have 497 Nippers and 264 Youth competitors, with some very close finishes, with margins of hundredths of seconds between first and second, which made for a very exciting competition!

Congratulations to Woolacombe who were victorious in the Nippers competition, and Portreath who won the Youth title.

The Youth competitors were out to impress GB selectors and there were some great performances to grab their attention. It was also great to see competitors taking part in new races for the first time, really getting into the spirit of the event.

These competitions can’t happen without a huge amount of efforts from volunteers, officials and clubs, so we’d like to thank everyone who helped out at the weekend to make it such a success.
