Life saving tropical style thanks to SLSGB

SLSGB is helping to influence surf life saving in Mauritius, following a visit from the country’s leading life saving representative Viraj Ramharai earlier this year. During his visit to England, Viraj took the Beach Lifeguard and Coaching Course and has established Surf Life Saving Mauritius under an MoU with SLSGB.

Sessions in Mauritius have started for both nippers and seniors, with budding life savers learning beach flags, wading techniques and how to use a rescue tube.
