Seaford Lifeguards accepted onto Heart Start Scheme

Seaford Lifeguards have been accepted into the British Heart Foundation's 'Heart Start' scheme. As a registered scheme Seaford Lifeguards, based in East Sussex, will be offering free emergency life support training across Seaford and the surrounding area with the full support of the British Heart Foundation.

Seaford Lifeguards Trainer and Seaford Heart Start scheme coordinator George Stonehouse said:

"this is a fantastic opportunity for any club, the support and resources provided by the British Heart Foundation including training manikins are amazing. By working with a scheme such as this you can really help establish Surf Lifesaving as a worthwhile community activity in your local area, not to mention the national footprint and kudos a national scheme like this gives you!"

It's easy for other clubs to get involved, just visit the Heart Start website and follow the steps. There are opportunities to have training and resources and manikins are provided for successful clubs.
