St.Ives Surf Life Saving Club is holding the 13^th Annual St.Ives Biathlon on 26^th June. This event has become one of the sporting highlights of the town and has competitors coming from all over the UK. If you are feeling brave, why not tackle the 1.5 mile run to Carbis Bay, followed by a 2000m sea swim back to St.Ives?

There are Junior and Novice races, covering 800 meters to Porthminster beach and a swim back to the Harbour.

All competitors receive vouchers for a pasty (& beer if over 18) and a coveted Biathlon t-shirt, with local businesses supplying prizes. There is an excellent atmosphere on-shore, with live music and a raffle in aid of the Surf Lifesaving Club.
