Insurance & Safeguarding

Insurance

Surf Life Saving GB membership includes liability & personal accident cover. Below is an outline of this cover:

Public Liability - £10,000,000 any one occurrence
All members are covered when involved in all activities undertaken which are organised, recognised and under the permission of Surf Life Saving Great Britain or Surf Life Saving Great Britain's affiliated clubs.

Officials, Trainers, Coaches and Assessors need to be registered with Surf Life Saving Great Britain. Coaches, Club Officers, Trainers and Assessors are also covered for professional indemnity.

All Officials, Trainers, Coaches, Assessors and other individuals with a specific ‘role' must receive the relevant safeguarding checks & be insured with adequate liability cover.

Taster Sessions: For a taster session participant register please click here. A copy of all registers are to be sent to Katie Middleton at SLSGB following the taster session. 

Day Membership: The fee for a day membership is £5. For a Day Membership form please click here. Send all day membership forms and fees to Katie Middleton at SLSGB.

In the event of an insurance claim or an incident that may give rise to a liability claim in the future please contact Geoff Gale at Pavey Group immediately.

Our Safeguarding Officer Poster is an excellent way of communicating to younger members of your club who they should contact if they have any concerns. Please click on the poster to download a copy. You can display this poster at a child friendly height in your club house.
