Unitisation of Awards

We have been working hard to create a unitised system of delivery that minimises duplication, but allows flexibility, recognition, sustainability and ease of use for everyone that delivers SLSGB courses.

By unitising our courses will ensure that it is accessible for people, making criteria clearer for Trainers and Assessors and minimise repetition between courses, it will ensure standardisation of delivery and promote good practice for all Trainer Assessors.

All of our units have been mapped to guidelines to ensure that we are meeting minimum requirements and producing quality assessment criteria. In line with this unitisation we have created our Online Learning Environment (OLE), which contains information on the units, including teaching resources and online tests to be used in conjunction with these different units.
