Call for GBR Team Management Roles

The GBR Steering Group is seeking interest from members to manage, coach and support the GBR Lifesaving team for a 2 year period through to the World Championships in Italy in 2020.

We would welcome interest from those who are able to commit their skills and time to managing the current GBR squad, co-ordinating GBR Trials, Selection of the teams to attend both the European and World Champs and then to accompany and support the team to both competitions which will be held in Italy in both 2019 and 2020.

We are seeking to appoint a team that may include: Team Manager, Assistant Manager, Pool Coach, Ocean Coach, Sports Therapists and support with Logistics. The positions are voluntary but GBR will cover expenses of attending the competitions and other out of pocket expenses to be agreed.

Please read the Role Descriptions document (available for download below) and if of interest please email Adrian Lole at adrianlole@rlss.org.uk  with a covering letter introducing yourself and your skills, supported by a resume of your qualifications and experience by no later than Friday 15th February. Interviews will take place either in person in Exeter or virtually as needed in the last 2 weeks of Feb, with the management team appointed and announced in early March.

NBManagerial and Coaching positions will need to available to attend RLSS UK Speeds on 16th/17th March and SLSGB Stillwater events on 27th/28th April and the GBR trials currently scheduled for May, June and July
